Colorado Space Coalition
The Colorado Space Coalition (CSC) is a group of industry stakeholders working to make Colorado a center of excellence for aerospace. CSC members – including space companies, military leaders, academic organizations, research centers, and economic development groups – promote Colorado’s significant space assets as well as advancing legislation vital to industry growth and success.
The CSC is an industry affiliate of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation. The Colorado Economic Development Commission is a major financial contributor to the CSC's marketing initiatives.
CSC members span the entire state, representing diverse backgrounds, but united goals.

CSC Initiatives
The CSC focuses on the following initiatives to expand Colorado's position as the nation's No. 2 aerospace economy:
- Recruit new companies and expand existing aerospace employment in the state.
- Market and promote the industry nationally and internationally.
- Maintain an advisory dialogue with Colorado's Congressional delegation on key aerospace issues.
- Expand networking and collaboration among the state's space companies.
- Grow the state's pipeline of qualified aerospace workers. --Support funding for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education in Colorado.
- Define the role of aerospace in the United States through partnering with the Aerospace States Association.
- Provide support for Colorado's military and civilian space assets.
Leadership
Lt. Gov. Dianne Primavera
Dianne Primavera is a leading patient advocate who has spent three decades fighting for every Coloradan's access to quality, affordable health care. Before becoming Lieutenant Governor, Dianne served as a state legislator representing Broomfield, Superior, and parts of Erie. Throughout her service, Dianne was highly regarded for her success working across the aisle to promote Colorado small businesses, lower prescription drug costs, and expand access to affordable health care. Most recently, Dianne served as the CEO of Susan G. Komen Colorado, one of the largest organizations in the country dedicated to breast cancer prevention, treatment, research, and education. Dianne is a lifelong Coloradan and Broomfield resident. She has two adult daughters and a one-year-old granddaughter, Kailani.
Dr. Ron Sega
Dr. Ron Sega brings decades of experience in applying academic research to real-world situations. He joined Colorado State from the U.S. Government, where he served as Under Secretary of the Air Force. A former astronaut, Sega flew two missions into space on the space shuttle Discovery in 1994 and as payload commander for the third shuttle/Mir docking mission aboard Atlantis in 1996. Dr. Sega serves as Vice President for Energy, the Environment, and Applied Research at the Colorado State University Research Foundation, and is one of the University’s champions of clean and renewable energy. Sega also serves as a special advisor to the President on energy and the environment. As the Woodward Professor of Systems Engineering in the College of Engineering, Sega is a leader in developing systems engineering curricula in collaboration with industry and other universities in the state.
